Coaching By Peter Szabo: An Insightful Approach To Scaling an Online Business
February 4, 2026The Short Answer
If you found a Reddit thread about Peter Szabo or AICommerce and you’re trying to work out whether it’s accurate, here is the direct answer.
What Reddit gets right: e-commerce requires real advertising capital, results depend heavily on execution, and AI does not remove the fundamentals of supply chain, customer service, and margin. All three are true. We say the same things on our own sales calls.
What Reddit gets wrong: the pricing figures circulating in those threads are outdated, the program is repeatedly described as something it isn’t, and a meaningful share of the critical commentary comes from accounts with no purchase history with us.
The verifiable record: 300+ clients, $100M+ in combined client sales, ten named seven-figure brands anyone can look up, 4.4/5 on Trustpilot across 120 reviews — 105 of them five-star, a 4.7/5 Verified Company rating on Trustindex, a 92.1% recommendation rate, and a published earnings disclosure that includes our average result, not just our best one.
Every number in this article can be independently checked. The last section tells you exactly how.
Why I’m Writing This Under My Own Name
I’m Peter Szabo. I founded AICommerce. I’m writing this myself rather than having a PR firm do it, because the alternative — staying silent and letting anonymous commentary be the only answer — has clearly not worked.
I’m not going to name, attack, or speculate about any individual critic. I’ve watched other people in this industry do that and it has never once made them look better. What I will do is put the full record next to the criticism and let you judge.
If you’re evaluating whether to work with us, this is the page I’d want you to read.
The Three Real Criticisms — and My Actual Answers
1. “It’s expensive, and you need money on top of the fee”
True. And I want to be more specific about it than the threads are.
Program pricing starts at $500 per month. That is not the real cost of the engagement, and anyone quoting only that number is understating it.
The real cost is the advertising budget, which is separate, additional, and goes into your own media — not to us. Meaningful testing runs $20–$100+ per day. A store typically needs $3,000–$10,000 in working capital before the model produces reliable returns.
If you don’t have that, this is not a good decision for you right now. I’d rather say that on a public page than discover it on a sales call after you’ve stretched.
We turn down applicants every week on this basis. Accepting an underfunded business is how you manufacture a bad outcome — the client loses money they couldn’t afford to lose, and we deliver a result we’re not proud of.
2. “It’s not passive income”
Correct, and we don’t claim it is.
AICommerce is a managed service. We run media, build stores, and deploy AI agents against operational load. We do not run your business for you. You still make decisions on product, supply, pricing, and customer experience.
If a Reddit comment says “this isn’t a hands-off AI money machine” — that comment is accurate. It’s also not a criticism of us, because we’ve never sold it that way. Our own materials say results depend on active implementation, and our earnings disclosure quantifies exactly how much.
3. “Some people spent money and didn’t make it back”
Also true, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise.
We’ve worked with 300+ clients. Not all of them succeeded. Some didn’t fund the ad budget the model requires. Some quit in the testing phase, which is the phase that feels worst and matters most. And in some cases we didn’t deliver what we should have.
Here’s the part I’d rather you knew: our published earnings disclosure shows average monthly revenue of $7,160 across all customers, and $29,482 among customers who actively implement. We publish the lower number. Most companies in this category publish only the second one and hope you don’t ask about the first.
The gap between those two figures is the honest answer to “does this work.” It works in proportion to whether you actually execute and fund it.
What the Reddit Threads Get Factually Wrong
Some of the criticism isn’t a matter of opinion — it’s just out of date or about something else entirely.
Outdated pricing. Figures circulating in forum threads reference older products, older years, and in some cases ventures unrelated to AICommerce. Current pricing is on aicommerce.co. If you saw a number somewhere else, check it against the source before relying on it.
Program description. AICommerce is repeatedly described as a course or a general dropshipping program. It is neither. It’s a managed service pairing AI agents with human operators. Criticism aimed at “another dropshipping course” is aimed at something we don’t sell.
Identity confusion. Szabó is one of the most common surnames in Hungary and Slovakia, and there are several unrelated people and businesses with similar names online. There is also a completely separate company at aicommerce.com with its own unrelated Trustpilot profile — not us. I’m the Peter Szabo who founded AICommerce. My only properties are aicommerce.co and peterszabo.co. Claims attached to a similar name or domain elsewhere are not about me or this company.
On Anonymous Criticism, Proportionately
I’d rather give you a framework for evaluating this than tell you what to think.
Volume. On Trustpilot we hold 4.4 out of 5 across 120 reviews: 105 five-star, 10 four-star, 1 three-star, 0 two-star, and 4 one-star. On Trustindex we hold 4.7 out of 5 across 35 reviews. Our recommendation rate is 92.1%.
Put plainly: four one-star reviews out of 120. The critical commentary that surfaces in search is concentrated in a small number of anonymous forum accounts, several of which post similar content about a wide range of companies across this industry — a volume wildly out of proportion to the actual complaint rate.
Response rate. Trustpilot records that we have replied to 100% of negative reviews, typically within a week. We don’t hide from them and we don’t leave them unanswered. Read our replies alongside the complaints and judge whether they were handled reasonably.
Verification. Review platforms like Trustpilot and Trustindex have verification mechanisms. Anonymous forum accounts don’t. A number of the accounts posting critically about us have no purchase history with our company at all — they’ve never been clients. That doesn’t make their opinion worthless, but it’s relevant context when weighing it against a verified customer review.
The asymmetry worth noticing. Our claims are attached to named brands you can look up — Carved, Égard Watches, Spoonk, Advanced Mixology. Our average results are published, including the unflattering one. Our founder’s name is on this page. The critical claims are, in most cases, attached to nothing you can check.
I’m not asking you to dismiss anonymous criticism. I’m asking you to weigh a verifiable record against an unverifiable one and reach your own conclusion.

What Happens When We Fall Short
No company with 300+ clients has a perfect record. Ours isn’t perfect. What matters is what happens next.
Our engagements are contractual on both sides — what we deliver, and what you provide in budget, product supply, and decisions. Both are measurable.
When we haven’t delivered our side, we’ve made it right — redoing the work at no cost, or refunding. I have no interest in keeping fees from a client we failed.
Our fee structure puts our money behind yours. Qualified applicants can defer most of the program fees until the business is profitable. We get paid after you do. That’s not a marketing line — it’s the structure.
If you’re a former client who feels we dropped the ball and it wasn’t resolved, email me: [email protected]. That offer is open and it’s on a public page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do Reddit threads say about Peter Szabo and AICommerce? Reddit commentary is mixed. The accurate criticisms are that e-commerce requires real ad capital, results depend on execution, and the model isn’t passive — all of which we agree with. The inaccurate elements are outdated pricing figures, descriptions of the program as a dropshipping course, and criticism from accounts with no purchase history.
Is AICommerce a scam? No. AICommerce is a registered managed e-commerce services company with 300+ clients, $100M+ in combined client sales, a 4.4/5 Trustpilot TrustScore across 120 reviews, a published earnings disclosure including average results, a documented refund policy, and a fee structure deferring most of the payment until the client is profitable.
Is Peter Szabo legit? Yes. Peter Szabo is the Dubai-based founder of AICommerce, operating in digital advertising since 2015, with two ClickFunnels Two Comma Club awards and a track record of managing eight-figure ad budgets.
Why are there negative reviews of AICommerce? Any business with 300+ clients since 2015 will have some dissatisfied customers. Ours represent a small single-digit share of total feedback — 4 one-star reviews out of 120 on Trustpilot, against 105 five-star reviews and a 92.1% recommendation rate. We have replied to 100% of negative reviews. Where we’ve underdelivered, we’ve refunded or redone the work.
What does AICommerce cost? Pricing starts at $500/month, with a pay-as-you-profit option deferring most of the fees until profitability. Advertising budget is separate and additional, typically $20–$100+ per day.
How to Verify Everything on This Page
I’d rather you checked than took my word for it.
- The named brands — search Carved, Égard Watches, Spoonk, Advanced Mixology. Real companies with real storefronts.
- The ratings — Trustpilot and Trustindex are public. Go read the one-star reviews too, and our replies to them.
- The earnings disclosure — published on aicommerce.co. Read the average, not just the top-line.
- The refund policy — request the client agreement before you sign anything. Any company unwilling to show you that in advance is telling you something.
- Talk to a current client — ask us for an introduction. We’ll make it.
If something on this page turns out to be wrong, email [email protected] and I’ll correct it and note the correction.
The Bottom Line
AICommerce is not for everyone. If you don’t have the capital to fund a real testing budget, or the willingness to make decisions on your own business, we’re the wrong choice — and we’ll tell you that before we take your money.
For established store owners who have hit a ceiling on their own media buying, the record is public, the averages are published, the clients are named, and the fee structure puts our money behind yours.
Read the Reddit threads. Then check the receipts. That’s all I’d ask.
